Hi everyone! I figured y’all would want to know who I’ve been spending most of my life with for the past several weeks, so I wanted to write a short snippet about my team of beautiful girls that God has blessed me with on this journey (and for the rest of my life)! They radiate Jesus so beautifully, and serving alongside them this past month has been such an honor!
At training camp, we named ourselves the Bread Breakers based on the passage of Acts 2:42-47.
“They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performes by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
We have become family – loving sisters in Christ, and we strive to be the fellowship of believers described above! We value the importance of breaking bread in remembrance of what Christ did for us, and we believe that every time we eat should be with thankful hearts in remembrance of the beautiful gift from our Father!
So that’s where our name came from, and now, I want to introduce you to each of my team members. Here they are from left to right!
Queso
She is so cool y’all! She brings so much wisdom and knowledge to the table, and she is so honorable in everything she does. She walks with a beautiful confidence for our Father, and she desires to become more like Him in every way! She has such a passion for children and jumps at every opportunity to love them like Jesus does no matter how bratty they can be sometimes! They absolutely adore her, and I love seeing her overflow with joy when she pursues this calling God has given her!
Victoria
Dang! This girl loves her Father so much! That love is contagious, and her tender relationship with Him is so precious! Her ears and heart is tuned to the Lord, and He is constantly using her to overflow into each of us! She has a love for women’s ministry, and it has been a privilege to see her love on so many women here in Jaco. She desires for them to walk in freedom and feel the unconditional love that has changed her life forever!
Court
Wow! Love her! She knows how to make me laugh so well! She is a huge light and walks in a humble spirit for the Lord! She has such a heart for youth students, and she desires for them to know the love and hope they can find in Jesus! God is using her to transform the hearts in these kiddos, and I’ve been enjoying seeing her confidently stepping into that role!
Cami
Cam is one of our squad leaders and has been an honorary Bready Buddy while we have been here in Jaco. God has placed us under her wing for us to soak up the wisdom and joy she radiates of the Lord. She walks in line with Holy Spirit with such confidence but also with such humility, and it has been cool to see God use her to pour into each of us as we grow in our own walks with Him!
Breanne
This is our beautiful team leader! She leads us with so much humility and grace, and she accepts every opportunity to glorify the Lord with open hands! She also has a love for photography, and she is so passionate in using her gift to bring glory to the Lord by captivating the beauty in His creations! I’ve loved seeing her walk into her gift with boldness as she chooses to see things through His eyes!
Kel
Now, she just radiates in excitement for the Lord! She has a heart full of such awareness and gratitude for how He works in her life and in others, and it is so beautiful to see her enthusiasm for what He is doing! She also loves coffee, and she strongly desires to follow her calling of using coffee as a form of ministry! It has been cool to see her spread the love of Jesus to every single person who also loves coffee here in Jaco!
So that’s my team y’all! Aren’t they awesome?! I love them all so much, and I can’t wait to keep learning and growing with them!
