Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog!

As you probably already know, God has given me the wonderful opportunity to serve Him on the World Race! I honestly cannot believe that I am doing this, or the fact that God would find me qualified or worthy enough to be a vessel for Him. Why me? I mean out of 7 billion people in the world, what makes me so special?

A couple years back when I was asked to take on a leadership role for Campus Crusade for Christ on my campus, I was thinking the same thing: Why me? What makes me worthy enough for this?

Then someone said this to me:

“God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.”

Then it dawned on me. The truth is I’m not worthy. I’m not qualified. But I am who God wants me to be. He will mold me into the person He needs me to be in order for Him to use me for His glory!

Once I accepted that perspective and looked at things with that mindset, I realized it is not about me at all. It is about God and the love He has for me and the world. It is about what He wants to do and what He wants me to see. It is all about Him. He chose to have this specific team to be His hands and feet on the race. He will use us and equip us to further His kingdom!

He didn’t call me because I was qualified. He just called me. And He qualified me!

“We love because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19
